On a side note. OP if you were that intent on meeting him that you were waiting for 20mins in the cold. Why did you not just pop into the place and try talking to him there. You may have had a 20 min chat then as he would have had nothing better to do.

t, partially because of how he drives and acts but also because I met him at a motorshow once and he was a miserable git there. He was on Vauxhall's stand signing autographs. Matt Neal was a lovely chap the same day on the Nissan stand. Edited by RB Will on Friday 26th November 22:56
A Hand Shaking Lesson to George Matthews
Next time you shake hands with a complete stranger, follow these simple rules:

3. Look at the floor whilst jabbering at the recipient
4. Thrust yourhand out and then NOT let go
If the other person at any time is forced to say
" Please let go of my hand"
Then, you have I am afraid, made a very bad first impression.

if you see me again, my advice, turn around and walk the other way,
I will not be polite next time.
