Well done Oli (as per thread title)

Older vehicle with narrow(er) wheels and tyres better in the snow smile

(until the rwd over does it)

Not seeing so many of the modern wide wheeled Meredes, BMWs and TVRs out in the snow and they're such fun to watch going up slopes biggrin

We should form a '60 hp or below' section smile

EFA: whoops, meant 65 hp (Japs didn't exagerate their power figures as much)

I did get some funny looks reversing down 3 streets out of Highgate. But more fool them as I didn't get stuck! then J-turned round out of the side streets and rolled on home.

That pic was taken just after pushing an eejit in Porsche 931 up the long hill on the way into Highgate Village, who after REPEATED requests to stick it in 2nd and stay off the loud pedal got some momentum and floored it, fish tailing sideways and curbed the hell out of his offside rear alloy. The joke was on him as we left him there beached against the curb and pushed the old lady in the micra behind past him.
She tried to tip us £5 but the look on the 931 drivers face more than made up for the effort.

Some people just won't listen...

You're right. Can't believe I missed that at first look, since I live round the bloody corner.

OK, it was on Wednesday - before the snow set in here in the Soft South - but it was still verrry cold, grey and 'orrible on the M4 near Slough, as I drove west soon after dawn. So, I gave a large salute to the gent in the black Bentley Continental heading into London, top down, and clearly "making progress". I am sure he has heated seats/wheel/pedals/gearshift/ashtray, but still a good effort.

I've purposely driven home every night this week with the roof safely in the boot. Nothing like open top motoring in December to make you look a complete nutter. biggrin

I just stuck a beanie and some gloves on and drove into Banbury in the Alfa S3 to do some shopping. Bit nippy but very enjoyable.

Thought I would add some open season fun to this thread.

Not snowing or anything but it's fairly cold out there and couldn't resist with the gorgeous sun out this morning

Not mine but borrowed my mums 206cc. Took it for a hoon around Epping forest. I wasn't the only one with the roof down either!

Out yesterday with friends both cars roof down (no photo unfortunately) ice in the shadows meant a steady drive

We saw three cars in ditches, two at least upside down, the weather doesn't have to be extreme to need caution when driving
