Not really. Ferrari world is a big red Manta-ray shaped abortion in terms of Automotive taste. This is just an enterprising young limo chaps experiment with glassfiber, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it or one of it's brethren in real life. Some years ago I was in Queensland (it was either Surfers Paradise or up north near Cairns) and I saw an F40 'Limo'. I wonder if this one has travelled to the gold coast with the tourists of its homeland?

For my bet, maybe something like a Nissan Q1?

Drop a 3.0 Litre twin turbo from a supra in it ....one of the most impressive engines ever, unbelivable power.

It used to wheelspin like crazy in a 1700kg car ... I guess in this you'll be able to channel all that power nicely, guessing it weights about 2000kg.

Nice.

Just one problem, Ferrari don't tend to take kindly to people useing there badge without their say so. They get very touchy, in a way that other makers don't. I think PH might just have caused someone to recive a visit from the Ferrari legal team.

I very much doubt it.

If Ferrari aren't interested in perusing the hundred odd god-awful F355 and 360 replica's in the UK, then they aren't going to bother going all the way to Japan to reprimand some bloke selling a hilarious "Ferrari Limo"...

It has been known. They leave them alone as long as there is no badge on it. They get upset when people start sticking badges on or makeing money off it. They should leave him alone, but it would not supprise me if the guy got a cease and desist type letter, either for the sale or use as a limo.

Its an mr2 mark 1. If you look at the interior pic. the centre console at the back is the from an mr2. And if you look behind the console you can see the upright rear screen that the mr2 had. but outside you have a sloping window on the rear clamshell.

I reckon if you stretch the body long enough you can probably bring the ring time to 0... (or maybe I am getting confused with the theory of relativity?!)

Oi Shako... we've already established that the advert is not exactly factually correct, so unless you can come up with something approaching correctness - wind your neck in!

Firstly, who's this 'we'? You've established nothing apart from blurting out a car make without reading the rest of the thread.

Secondly, what part of the advert had anyone found to be 'factually incorrect'?

Thirdly, it's already been demonstrated above that it's a modified Mk1 Toyota MR2.

FWIW, I agree with you, the rear screen and C pillar DO look very LS400-like.

But I read the rest of the thread too. wink
