My word, the Bank of Wit must be on the phone to The Fed.

Shall we try again?

Fine, the reason being, I hate BMW and I love Lotus, prices and specs aside.

Apologies for not putting "in my opinion" but I thought that went without saying.

I'll go back to my corner now getmecoat

noise of a car is very important. mate has an atom 300 and it sounds ace on the move, but at idle and revving when stationary, terrible.

M3.

The Exige is a one trick pony.

The M3 is a field of ponies.

Doing 30k miles per year in various Lotus I can whole heartedly say that a Lotus is not 'one trick'.

Animal, life's to short to hate; a dutifully nurtured contempt, however, is perfectly acceptable.

Tbh, if I thought about the BS marketing speil, I'd feel something similar.

Not really. That picture of the CSL dancing at the ring did give me the horn though.

That's a pretty crap reason, though. I don't like Ferrari as a company, or most Ferrari owners I've met, but will admit they're a dab hand at making cars.

So do you have any actual reason for your opinion, or are you a vehicular bigot?

Edited to improve grammar.

I miss my old R400 oh so very much but the Elise/Exige is that much more usable.

Excuse to post crappy scanned pictures of my old car -

Nicely loosened up after clocking nigh on 20k miles in a short space of time this particular one was every bit as quick as an R500........
