apologies for the poor quality phone pics, but I saw this awesome beauty
outside of work today - really looked like the perfect vehicle for coping
with the snow

would love to have this alongside my W124 300CE coupe as a winter hack - imagine turning up at a mercedes dealer in it !

cheers - Tb

not sure whats going on with the colour on my phone pics - maybe i'll check
the white balance.

anyway, back to the 190 - i thought the rear spoiler was a little over the top. would have preferred it to have a small bootlip type one !

it looked like the chassis/running gear was a hilux or similar, but whoever has built it has gone to the trouble to graft the complete 190 dash in as well (nice attention to detail)

cheers - Tb

I did like the "winter car" I saw this weekend:

My definition of "perfect" does have quite a wide margin of error though - approximately equal to dressing up warm, putting on a silly hat, and getting a snowball in the kisser every so often.

Currently in the build phase.

Take a clapped out Vitara chassis and a Civic shell and a cobbled together drivetrain. Place in garage for an undetermined amount of time with some electric glue and orzum skillorz.

Build thread here.

I hope the owner doesn't mind me posting this.

ETA:- Give yourself a while to read through it all.
