RE: Spotted: Ferrari Enzo Prototype For Sale
Discussion
I can't work out why it doesn't look right - its just not coherent - is it a lengthened chassis?
The side-on shot makes it look more like an NSX than a Ferrari, and the sloping rear glass area looks all wrong with what everyone expects to be the trademark 345/355 flying buttresses
Having said that, I guess Ferrari designed it NOT to look too conspicuous - that's what test mules are supposed to be
However - how much is an Enzo engine? I reckon the asking price is worth it for the lump alone

Are you lot blind? That is 1 seriously ugly car from many angles!!!
Looks like a cut and shut!
There are some nic bits on it but you would look like a bit of a tool driving it - like you had Max-Powere'd a 348!
Agreed. If a lesser manufacturer released that, even as an ex demo/test/concept/idea/dream, it would be panned to death by the PH forum ninjas.Looks like a cut and shut!

True but it doesnt matter. Its a one off and a piece of Ferrari history. There are a lot of people willing to pay hansomely for something like that.Looks like a cut and shut!

This was auctioned off a few years ago for around GBP55k if I'm not mistaken. They then tried to flog it off about a year later for some ridiculous amounts. Looks like still on for sale :-)
Its quite a car but pig ugly to look at and If you see it in the flesh it is like a badly made kit car.

The engine is probably worth that alone.

Somehow, I get the impression the pull of this car is owning it for the prestige, not the prospect of driving it.Looks like a cut and shut!
