That bring's back some very fond memories. My Griff on a warm summers evening with the roof down cruising(sometimes more) through the English countryside, nothing could touch it when it came to putting a smile on my face. Everything I've driven since hasn't come close. I miss that car, I'm now wondering why I sold it!
Shame it was so foggy that day.
Lol, once the fog had cleared!
foglights..? or main beam

I've got a selection of postcards in my drar, pictures on the front, specs/info on the reverse, that we were given by Fernhursts way back in yr7 or 8 at school! Venturing into the showroom as it was behind the bus stop

Good point, weren't they referred to as driving lamps rather than fog lights? Can't remember now whether they came on with full beam or a separate switch. In true TVR fashion, it didn't make much difference whether the lights were on or off!

Sad day TVR got a russian involved, hence empty factory, I think a lot of local companies lost money, and to our Lotus juvenile, grow up, from a grandad who shoves an e type around quite happily.

I remember after Le Mans 2006 on the road out of Alencon a Lotus Elise tried it on and I left him for dead at the next set of lights. He was choking on the tyre smoke as I took off. The look on his face was priceless though. I had a Chimaera 500 for 8 years and it never missed a beat. Do NOT fancy the fuel bills today but the noise in a tunnel and out on the road was amazing. The heat from the engine would melt ice so it would be ideal for Britain this winter.

LOL, reminds me of a trip with a friend back from my Elise days. Friend of mine was driving his, we met a Chimaera, he tried to follow him, but then went out of the way waving his hands wildly, signing me to go after him (Honda'd Elise could keep up with the Chimaera quite well). But the sound coming from that thing, yummie smile
