anything fast said:
SAAB man of old would buy a SAAB due to the bulletproof reliability, the solid engineering, the handsome looks and a certain something the old SAAB's have.. Sadly under GM ownership I do not fully understand the motives which the current SAAB man has in order to make a purchase and i think this £40,000 ragtop Vectra is a case in point! its a badge.. the product lacks all the charm and carisma of the proper SAAB's which were genuinely a left field but great choice of car...
Aye but they still have a bucket load more charm and status than their Vauxhall counterparts, which is a point seldom if ever mentioned.

I've got one.

I love it, and SWMBO loves it even more. Have to say that ours, in black, attracts a lot of attention and compliments.

It's a dream to drive long distances too. Any journey is better, top down.

That £40k pricetag isn't that surprising - press cars with every single option pack and bell and whistle always end up with comedy pricetags. It can be quite humbling to pick an ordinary car and spec it up on the manufacturer's website and see what bonkers figures you can come up with. I think I could get close to that figure with a Ford Focus!
