I'm not driving a Mini Metro.
I'm not driving a Mini Metro.
I'm not driving a Mini Metro.
I'm not driving a Mini Metro.
Well it is called a Rover Metro now.
They've re-badged it you fool!
Anyone who thinks a mini-Metro is the same as a Rover Metro is a bit wide of the mark.

my first 2 cars were metros, i loved them both, both were 1.0l and not to fast, but this didnt stop me having a head on with a fiesta at 50 mph, unbelievbly everyone walked out of the accident with minor injurys, 5 years later i bought my mums g reg mk3 metro turbo, i loved this too but i sold it a year later for an renault 19 16v WORST CAR EVER.
i wish i had never sold the metro turbo. when i sell my porsche i will be getting another one for my sunday toy. it will have to be mint though and a g reg totally standard,
so if you are selling one in the next few months let me no.
also if any one wants a mint 2008 porsche boxster also let me no.

I could see it was an a series head by the stat housing and rocker cover.
I`ve just never seen a x flow head for an a series and was just curious as to its design, manufacturer, flow advantages that sort of thing.
It stood out like a sore thumb.
My mini days are long long gone im afraid, distant memories of worn ball joints seized brake adjusters, soggy engine mounts and lots of welding along with the joy of bouncing round country lanes at 35mph,foot to the boards feeling like 135mph thinking I was Paddy Hopkirk.
the youngsters will never understand it because they`re youngsters.
If you`ve never been in a proper mini, you honestly haven`t lived!

Example

They usually ain't cheap.

There are also official Twincam 16v conversion kits, and BMW K1100 16v motorbike heads can be, relatively, easily modified to fit a 1380cc A series.
