I'm assuming the later ones still look much fresher.
I think the look is very dependent upon colour and wheels - the early 5-spokes do look very dated, the 94+ (95+?) wheels still look fairly modern, while some colour combo's do it no favours (personal choice, but IMHO silver w/black roof especially now seems rather dated, while all-silver isn't quite so bad). That said, I can't stand the look of a lot of modern cars - too many creases and angles just for the sake of putting detail on a car. I'll wager that in 20 years time the NSX is still considered a good-looking car while e.g. the R35 GTR and the various BMW 1-series are considered fugly abortions of design.
People have been running stories about 'the new NSX' for 5 years now. Honda have even released two concepts, one of which was actually running (& racing!). I'll withhold my enthusiasm until I see the prototype running around the 'ring.
Re: the "artists impressions" - god no, how dull does that look?!? The HSV-010 was a stunning looking machine, even taking off the Super-GT bodykit. Please give us something that looks a bit better than a Jap copy of the R8!
