Should the dealer pay for my clutch?

If the box is coming off I'd have the clutch done regardless.
Seems a fair offer to me, they have no reason to offer a discount on the clutch really?
Are they charging extra labour to fit the clutch?
It'd seem churlish since once you've pulled the engine and removed the gearbox you're only a few bolts away from the clutch. Perhaps (just perhaps) they're being nice?Seems a fair offer to me, they have no reason to offer a discount on the clutch really?

Maybe worth getting them to replace the gearbox oil at the same time (I'm guessing they may reuse your old oil
Very good point. I'll ask the question however the car has full main dealer history so should in theory have recent gearboc.hora said:

I guess chomp means you took their offer, which is a bloody good one because it should now last longer than you have the car.
Even better. How do I name and shame these folk? They just called me and said it free seeing as I've had the car such a short period of time.
Now it wasn't worn out hence my original question and for the mileage/age.
