On a budget?!

The missus picked up a 3litre Z3 for £6k!

You don't need to spend much to be able to have the wind blowing through your hair and out do most cars at the lights too.
There is no such thing as a 3.0 Z3...

"Do not adjust your laptop - PistonHeads is reviewing a diesel Mini soft-top..."

It wouldn't matter if I adjusted my laptop, television, spectacles, vantage point or location. I would still be as likely to come across this kind of guff in most of the major sources of "sports/performance" car news.

Almost every test in this week's Autocar is of a Diesel, for example.

PistonHeads should be a safe refuge from this kind of drizzle - these are not cars bought by people who enjoy driving and I certainly don't want to read about them on here. Didn't this used to be a TVR forums website?!

Oops, didn't know there they slipped the 3.0 in. I always thought it stopped with the 2.8 or then the 3.2M.

While it aint pretty I got my '88 mustang convertible for £800, amazingly it's only cosmetic work required as the running gear and the 5.0 motor are solid. There're better bargains to be had out there.

Hmmmmm...(in my best Austrian psychiatrist voice) theez car people haf ein unhealthy preoccupation mit bodily functions.

Ze other day ze designer of ze new Pagani said "We drew the wind" und now ze Pistonheads man says " If you're in the right mood the wind can be quite good fun."

I am thinking maybe less time mit your mates down der pub.

Velly Interesting...

Certainly is - £17,925 before you add any options. But to me it feels like it's worth the extra...

Outside of a Twingo Renaultsport, there just aren't any really entertaining cheap cars any more.

I like MINI but when I saw the headline and the small pic of the MINI I honestly thought this was a SOTW article. That pic does not look like a new car, fortunately it looks better in the rest of the pics but I would be pissed off if I had just paid nearly 18k or whatever for this!

I just got my Cooper D Cabby last wednesday as my company car, had R56 Coopers and Cooper D's before, and I am really impressed with the new one, the new BMW diesel engine is a million times better than the old one, it actually pulls pretty well, and it brilliant on fuel. The engine is eager too which makes it really fun to drive, it was the one thing that annoyed me about the old Cooper D engine, it took a while for the boost to kick in.
