Little Ms V is 7 months old, if I get cracking now, I might have something sorted for her by the time she's big enough to steer one… biggrin

Time to upscale and build one from a wheelie bin! wink
laughyes Would need something a bit more potent than a B&Q own brand cordless drill though.

Twin lawnmower motors? I think you can get cordless electric ones?

"£10k Auto Union Type C pedal car..."

Shouldn' that link to some kind of Audi based pedal car, instead of the bin-cars?

The steering and drive arrangement are far less impressive than the bodywork. Quite horrible in fact, but could easily be improved. IMO though it's a great looking car, and the use of the pedal bin is inspired, it's simply too small. I was going to build one for my daughter, but at the age of 5 she is too tall to fit it.
I presume the drill just claps on one axle with the throttle just acting on the trigger of the drill??

What are the wheels off, did you find out?

Love the design, very clever. Would have to mod it a bit for my daughter, pink wheels, Dora the Explorer decals etc. Bit concerning in the video with the 44 ton tanker heading towards the camera and wee one. Makes it seem a bit prone!

Would be better with pedals IMO, although pricier to build.
