i dont find the E63 estate a good looking car. Its too fussy and contrived imo-it doesnt flow. the creases on the rear quarter etc. It certainly is brutish though and far from ugly.

I like it because it's an all rounder, performance / luxury / practicality all in one. Bit pricey though and certainly more thuggish than graceful.
I love the old W124 estates but I'm not sure if that's for respect / admiration more than prettiness.

Gone but not forgotten! BMW have a habit of making very complete looking estate cars. For me it's a toss-up between this and the E60.

HPE = High Performance Estate, how can you mislead people with one badge twice! Is that some kind of a record?

To steal someone else’s joke.....particularly around the arches!

In 1975 it was 30% expensive than an MGB GT V8 and 3 seconds slower to 60mph!

Perhaps it should be MWH = Mildly Warm Hatch

It is a looker though (more so than MGB GT V8!)

When I was in my teens I used to fancy one of these.

Whatever happened to the 2 door estate, you don't seem to be able to buy one these days?
