Looking back I wish I'd bought the one I test drove as a daily frown

I bet! I spent a lot of time trying and failing to convince my father to buy one as the 'Sensible' car for the family. Sadly to say it didn't work frown

Well, they don't call me WeirdNev for nothing.

Intact, it was your garage and the M3 evo Touring that got me googling the top pic. Could you clear something up for me?
It appears that BMW never made an M3 Touring, Evo or otherwise. Is this correct? Are the (very few) M3 Tourings I've seen on the web all hybrids of M3 running gear and a 328/25 body???

It's a great idea for a car though, a kind of M3-station wagon sleeper hybrid. I do like.

There's something about that is far meaner than the saloon version.

I love these, its a shame they're so rare. I saw one near Newcastle a couple of months ago in a dark, mallard green colour and it looked absolutely stunning. A top class piece of Japanese metal!

The other estate which I really favour is the Impreza, it just looks brilliant; very purposeful and aggressive. It avoids that hideous "dad wagon" look that some estate cars have, like the previous generation Ford Mondeo, for instance.
