RE: Nissan Undecided On Esflow EV
Discussion
I like this one and I can see a future for EVs. But please let people choose what they want to drive and don't try to force new technologie by forbiding old one. When the time is right and the technologie is established, we will automatically drive EVs. But please don't take our old, lovely, 20th century, petrol munching cars away!!!!!
For commuting I'd buy an EV straight ahead, but I do want a 'proper' car when I want to drive and not only arriving.

If it had been 1988 and 3 times as many we would be Okay by now.
Ah well at least some of the green movement has admitted their mistakes over nuclear.
It's a real shame that a lot haven't.Ah well at least some of the green movement has admitted their mistakes over nuclear.
Take the Green party, most of their policies are pretty sensible, apart from their environmental ones.

As for NVH of RWD 4-pots; NISSAN.. WE DONT CARE! Put a 250bhp turbo 4-banger in a SMALL RWD car that handles properly and we'll all buy it.
Elise sales would probably imply the opposite. Everyone wants to want a noisy lightweight RWD car, but I think very few people actually want one. MSportUK said:

The Elise is a bit of an extreme example. If I could swap my 350Z for something with 50bhp and 300kg less (similar fun with better economy and tax band) without it being a crazy, stripped out, bootless wonder, I'd go for it.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
