I'd like a detuned Ferrari V12 in the new Quattroporte - at least as one of the engine options.

I liked the looks of the Quattroporte best when it originally came out. I remember seeing one in Bristol just before it was released in bordeaux with cream hide, and couldn't believe how stunning it was. The mild facelift ('09?) didn't do much for it in my opinion. I'd rather they didn't make the new one look like a Granturismo.

Why detune it biggrin

I think Ferrari learned their lesson when the MC12 ended up being faster round a lap than the Enzo.

biggrin inside of the car is beautiful, but that front end i cannot forgive
I love the styling of the Quattroporte, and the concept of a large normally aspirated Italian V8 saloon. I'd love to own and drive one, and it'd be top of my family car list when I win the lottery.

I do, however, completely understand why people might not like it ... If it weren't from Maserati, lacked the basking shark grill and trident badge, and didn't make that noise, its magic would be tarnished ....... If it had a german diesel engine and a junior maybach grill, I'd hate everything about it and its owners, however its a Maser and therefore a wonderful quirk of automotive uniqueness ....

....... to the classifieds !!!!
