eek

Did the lorry end up on it's side? Seeing the angle on the last picture suggests it does (van't watch the whole clip). Freak accident.

Ouch!

Are the cameras a legal requirement or would that have been put in to cover the haulier's arse in litigation, a bit like the cyclists with helmet cams?

I know that junction, looking at the googlemaps next to it.

You have to be VERY stupid to get that far on the sliproad.

Glad to hear that the truckers involved are all OK...

I think this must be it - astonishingly it says the woman driver had a lucky escape:

Oh, this was in the local paper the other day. ETA; Someone got there before me, was looking for the link.

Interesting to see what actually happened. Looked horrific. Think the road was closed for several hours!

I wish it was such that in a situation like that, where the entire accident was the Corsa's fault, they get sent the bill for all damage, all the police fire brigade and recovery services, and hospital bills.

Or they just shoot the dopey cock!!

The Corsa:

I bet if there hadn't been in cab footage, the lorry driver would be blamed...

I probably should be doing some work....

The Truck drivers reactions saved that womans life, had it hit here head on rather than the glancing blow she would have gone from 30/40 mph forwards to 50 mph backwards in a millisecond resulting in a serious case of Dead.

Frightening. Loving the idea of the RoadHawk though.
