I'm not sure 500+ kW electronic nanny playstation cars are the right way to go. LOL - in the real world it will not really be any faster than a GT-R. It's all limited by the tire technology anyway. Sportscars clearly suffer from a philosophical identity crisis.

To say that is a bit daft really, that's like them releasing the Lamborghini Aventador and saying "upset, SV owners?", or Bugatti releasing the SS and saying "upset, Veyron owners?".

It's a new car and they have to keep up with competition. What did you think? They'd just carry on making the 599 for a bit longer because they're all done developing? If customers all thought like that, most car companies would go out of business.

I was making a point (which I assume some people would agree with), or are people no longer allowed to have an opinion on a thread?
