The last time I saw full lock in action was on an airfield in North Wield with BG piloting, a lot of flappy hand movements, I number of indicators on and off and a rather disturbed rear view mirror... I'll give him benefit of the doubt and place all blame on the rack eh... If there's violent action inside the car, expect a matching reaction outside the car...

One of my clients has an Ambassador, bought it at the classic car auction at Henstridge a year or two ago, he tells me it has no rust and was under £1k. It good to see you finally doing something with this then, I remember being taken round the Ring in this by BG, but it was before it was track prepared
Guys, hopefully picking this up Wednesday evening.
Have been liaising with the owner ever since I saw the SOTW article, and I must say that he is a top bloke. Down to earth, and someone who appreciates how these German cars were built in the 80s.
Sounds like the sort of bloke I would enjoy consuming a pint with, chatting about old W126 SELs and E34 M5s.
Looking forward to driving it. I must admit, however, I am a little nervous about how it might handle. I know from experience that the E30 325s are lairy cars as standard, and this one is fully stripped!!
And to all those who have posted negative, pointless comments - Try getting another road legal RWD car, that has been modified like this one, for this sort of money and is built properly, with this amount of character and style.
Will keep you all posted of the progress.

I PICKED THIS UP LAST NIGHT !!
Absolutely stunning car. No issues whatsoever on the 120 mile drive back. The car did not skip a beat. Everything works, and it feels so tight and well put together.
Turns out that the car has been converted by a group of Bentley engineers, hence why it is so well finished!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike for his time, patience and genuine honesty.
For the asking price, he put on a new battery, found the service history and told me it actually has MOT until August, and not June!
The car is so raw and so purposeful.
I had a nice drive back from Stoke, to Milton Keynes, going via the A50, and other, smaller roads.
One road in particular that I found quite challenging - "A52 Painters Lane" - anyone know it? It was single track most of the way, surrounded by hedges, so it felt surreal roaring through in that E30 - I felt like a rally driver!
Gear changes are rapid, and the car pulls well in every gear.
Looking forward to having fun in it over the summer.

Top shedding, looks like you got a proper bargain. I'm being convinced to buy an E30 from a friend that races one in the PBMWC, still fancy an E36 328i but hopefully it won't be too long before I have one or the other.

Do it mate! The 328i will be quicker, but the E30s just have that "rawness" about them, and feel like more of a track weapon.Top shedding, looks like you got a proper bargain. Well, it was very nice to meet and deal with pSyCoSiS. A very keen car-guy (look at his garage!) and a gentleman.
We're all very sad to see the car go but we just weren't doing enough with it and I'm glad it's found a suitably enthusiastic home.
Hopefully this won't be the last we'll see of it - I've encouraged the new owner to keep this thread posted with their adventures.
