This only lasts for a few seconds and shows virtually nothing of the car but I thought I't post the link anyway.

I don't think Porsche hate Nissan at all. Do you think there might be some GTR Owners that possibly hate Nissan? I have heard of some scarily expensive gearbox stories attached to driving a GTR for extended periods on track. How does that saying go? "Buy cheap, buy twice"?
Please please please stop talking ste- not a single Uk owner who has tracked their car has had a problem with the gearbox that nissan has then refused- In fact the number of UK owners who have even had gearbox problems is negligible. Lots of owners track their cars all day long with no problems- especially if you change the tranny oil to pentosil- which is inexpensive-But lets also get something else straight- its not a track car surprise surprise- and the fact that you can take such a large road car on track and still have great fun is testament in itself.
Plus now servicing is free for 3 years- there are quite a few other tyre and brake options which are far cheaper than OEM and don't invalidate the warranty.
And just to qualify this- Ive owned one for 2 years done 4 track days- still on first set of dunlops - first set of disks and pads (all looking good because I treat them correctly - will go for aftermarket APs next)
4 services- total cost about £2.3 k so far-
Also had loads of porsches- love gt3s and would love this one especially but as Im doing less track days now- just cannot justify it at the moment.
Why you cannot like or own both marques is strange-they are both fabulous cars and we are lucky they are available to us!
After 2 years on UK roads its becoming clear that the GTR is very solid and extremely reliable- yes OEM equipment is expensive- but you are not tied to it and yes
servicing for pre-11 cars at 6 months is a pain but for a car with immense performance (that crushes nearly everything on the road with ease) so what!!!
As for this 911- wow
A great bit of kit and no doubt wonderful to drive but kind of pointless.
If you're that serious about your tracktime buy one of these.

£69,000 + trailer + vehicle to pull trailer. Surely it's acceptable to want a car that's brilliant on track but also incredible on the road? Think how much more fun you'd have with it as you'd get far more use from it.If you're that serious about your tracktime buy one of these.
