I must admit I have thought about this before. It seems strange it has not been seen on more concept cars at the very least.

dredging back into my childhood, wasnt there a late eighties/early 90's super car with "golfball" textured panels to aid slipperyness?

Would be a nightmare to keep clean with all the dirt getting trapped in the pores
