Mike Wilds was at Spa with us and singing the praises of the two Italian circuits during your trip. Sounded superb.
Maybe next year.

guards red mk2 996. some RS bits on it like front bumper and rear wing.
is a comfort spec
now has half cage (Porsche one)
leather buckets with red shroth belts.
sports exhaust
RS 29 pads all round (great upgrade!)
just had wheels re done in gloss black
steering wheel and gear lever have gone off for some 9002 dark grey alcantara with red stitching. red stipe at 12 oclock on wheel too.
doing centre console in red so will look like this:

Imola - my favourite track of all times, your first time there? Lokks like your lap times where just over 2 mins which is good! What organizer did you go with?https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0uAcH2UG6xo

Imola - absobloodylutely awesome!!! fave section Piratella into Acque Minerale.. indeed my first time there.. second only to the Ring so far in Europe for me although I do love Spa & Mugello.. watched my footage a few times and found some time saving on braking points after watching a 1.59 footage from a 4L RS.. would love to go back!PM me if you fancy a double header in 2015 (most likely a Sat/Sun in June or July) possibly with Monza thrown in a day or two before. I try to go once a year.
About 2-3 years ago there were some brits there on the same days as me, too (also ph'er, silver Carrera GT and a Carbon wrapped GT2, can't for my life remember their names), maybe we should together a PH trip

Hi so which of these previously owned cars would you say was the best?
Hard to say .....996 was the original , great car but felt a little under powered against more modern stuff , but very special .
997 noticeably quicker but you've got to work at it . Best looker in my opinion .
R best daily driver . Nearly as much fun without the compromises ( on roads ) and half the money !
991 I'm hoping blows them all away on all fronts ........

Recently had a great drive with friends in the Scottish Highlands; the depth of ability that these cars have never ceases to amaze me.
Hope to catch up with some of you at next week's Porsche Sunday Service
Is this the car that was sold by an OPC about 18 months ago? There cannot be too many in this colour.....Hope to catch up with some of you at next week's Porsche Sunday Service
Either way it's my dream car - I love the colour
