so much good stuff in here.

Spotted the above at 9e a few weeks ago. Loved how used it was and sporting a Frozenspeed sticker which I dont believe are given out easily!
That’s Sally I should have you know.

She is a garage queen of sorts. Lives either at the Ring, Le Mans, Bedford or the garage smile

She has done 37k miles and was Olaf Manthey’s old steed. The first K400 in the World. I bought her with 20k miles on the clock 5yrs ago. I think she has been polished once and gets washed about 3 times a year.

The more time I spent washing her the less time I get to drive her... She does come up nice though when some effort is applied smile

Awesome what a history she's had! I spent ages pouring over it!

They were built to be driven, right?

I'm not target market for Porsche GT sales ... maybe not enough Cayannes. But over the years, I only know one way to use these cars...

Are you at Spa with Circuit Days in October? If so id love a few passenger laps in your 996. Will be there sharing the 997 with the old man.

Ive got Angelsey on 17 Sept as well but in my 996 with them as well.

Still love the fact you use all your cars!

Your sage advice (and in-car video clip) was very useful on the eve of my first DN track day.

Love to see these cars driven as intended. Hope to see you on track again some time.

Cheers. My track schedule is a bit spontaneous at the moment. I'm going to do Spa certainly at some point - though XBow and 997 are probably need exploring there next. 996 is awesome at Spa! We'll get that pax lap in one day. Anglesey is one to be done yet.

My Gen 1 997 GT3....had her for 3yrs and 15k miles. Great car, although crap tyres for 6 months of the year...

Would love to have another and convert to a retro-mod, similar to the Green GT3 ducktail....although not at todays £'s..

You are over qualified for the job, T (knowing how to shift without an autoblipping widget).
Impeccable taste though smile

Agreed, it's one of the great pleasures of track days - not only hooning your own car around, but also seeing what other people are running and talking with them about it. As a petrolhead, everything from the cheap and not so rare, to the rare and expensive is interesting to me, but obviously, it's cars in the latter category that are most special.

I think the lunchtime petrol queue at this year's Oulton RS track day sums it up nicely:

Its also a lot safer pushing a car on track than driving like a dick on a road.

Absolutely. I find it saddening that so many GT3's and GT4's do not find thier way onto the race track. These cars were designed to spend part of thier live's there. The GTS versions are such good cars. If there's no intent to track then why bother buying a propper GT car? If this happened, Most of the allocation st fights would stop.

all wishful thinking i Know.
