I know this car,, had a front end early on in life, colour changed and repaired by malton to a good standard

It was for sale for quite a while at a dealer near St Albans about a year ago, it was quite cheap compared to others at the time (32-3ish?) then it reappeared a few weeks ago (was a thread on here asking about it) for sale privately near Aberdeen.

Sounds right. Think it used to be black and might be down at JZM at the moment. So the Pork jungle drums say anyway!

I was the second owner - had the car for 2 years - sold it to Porsche centre Swindon. Car's spec is now different from when I owned it:

colour was black (solid)
leather recaro buckets ,
no rear-belts,
red brake calipers

I was tempted to go and see it when it was for sale near Aberdeen in Q3/4 2013 but I am sure following some internet searching I found some hill climbing history and several cage type discussions about the car so decided to leave it alone as it wasn't for me. I cant find it now but I am sure it was on PH when it was black and it was being posted by its owner in a positive way from memory.

GT3s do not come in white or the RS (Or so I was told). That should warn anyone really.

Is that definite? There's a few white Mk2's in the USA and I can think of 1 Mk1 in white in Scotland?

I belive it is. The only 996 GT3s in white are the RS version. Is the white 1 your thinking of in Scotland this one?

MK1 was available in Biarritz White. Only 1 UK car I believe and it's in Scotland.I've never seen a MK2 non RS in the UK apart from this one (but this one has been re painted from Black) but that's not to say it wasn't available.

As already mentioned, the white Mk1 I'm thinking of is in Scotland (Glasgow area I think)
