Could you give us any idea of the Furka Train please. Where to / From, how long, how often, cost. Does a low Porsche fit, do you load it yourself?

Hi Smores, hope you're looking after KUS, my old car. Only a 991 RS will ease the pain.

Start from Brig, head up towards the Grimsel Pass, ignore the train, keep going up, gasp in awe at the Grimsel, and head towards the Furka...

Highly recommend a stop at the Rhone Glacier, you can walk on it and in it for less than 10 Swiss Francs...

Picture below is looking from the start of the Furka, Grimsel Pass is on the right zig zagging upwards, you'd come from the middle just round to the left.

The train misses this! (though it is handy when the Passes are shut due to snow)
