I've decided to take the plunge on a gen 1 997 cab. I'm hoping for a 4s.

If I want buy from a private seller, how do I go about getting a warranty? Are there people who will come and inspect the car and offer a warranty for a price?

I live in London, but am guessing a car from outside London might have less city miles.

Any recommendations appreciated.

Any Porsche up to 9 years old and 125,000 miles can have a Porsche warranty applied if it passes inspection (for which it'll need to be totally standard, and will need a major service if it doesn't have a full OPC history). The owner has to have had it for 90 days in order to buy the warranty, but cover can be immediately transferred to a new owner.
