It was a minor service, which means it was probably serviced by a minor.

It's a punchy price from a specialist, let alone some dudes in a barn

A highly reputable specialist, 911V have a similar car with lower mileage for £10k less advertised. It also does not have the (to many it seems, scary words) GC anywhere near the history. To that end, the black car is unlikely to sell before the 911V car.

its obviously easy to take the front cage out but if you do so, what permanent signs remain? Is it just the hole in the carpet?

Believe so. The cage attaches itself to the main structure and then runs inside the door frame down into the driver footwell. So the hole in the main frame/cage gets blocked up and then you're left with the floor cavity, you can fill that too with a plastic cap and then the carpet. I've done it before. The front cage is a total pain in the arse.

Ha. Be interesting to see how long this takes to sell ..being it not Green or Orange ! Madness.
Still not sold a couple of months on, and yet the price seems to have jumped to £100k. Maybe it was just too cheap to sell at the old price?

Yes, that made me laugh also! I'd buy it now, but would rather wait until December, when, hopefully, I will be able to buy it when it is worth more .... £150k maybe?
