Congrats, you're the only man to buy a car for reasonable money in the last 6 months! Very well bought.
Even without hearing that though, I agree, the Amari car looked pricey.
That car would have been 65k or less a year ago. Question is, is it going to continue to appreciate and how do buyers feel about the substantial amount of mods that car has. No chance it would ever be warrantied again by Porsche Even without hearing that though, I agree, the Amari car looked pricey.
Personally, I like a lot of the things the owners's done to it but its always splits opinion

There are two (both valid) schools of thought on mods I think. People who track hard or are very much in tune with how to get more performance modify their cars, and those lesser lights who only track occasionally, such as myself, tend to leave their cars bone stock. In the middle there are some noise people of course who just want loud.Personally, I like a lot of the things the owners's done to it but its always splits opinion
On a resale basis, I think it is always better to have a pure OEM car. At that point the buyer is able to rely on the original manufacturer spec, ( and possible warranty). I am going to hang onto my RS.1 which I bought new, and if its worth lots or nothing its all fine. It just about driving it for me.

Its almost an eight year old car, Porsche warranty...... The mods are all pretty sensible. Most Gt3 diffs would be toast anyway, brakes will always need replacing, the GT2 rear arb was upgraded by Porsche themselves later on, front grills stop your rads getting stoned, an exhaust tweak on a Gt3 can be sublime. I'd ditch the air filter and steering wheel, make sure all the original parts came with the car and it has had lots of regular oil changes and offer £75k.

The Alpine is a big step up too , with a decent speaker upgrade and amp
Grills good, brakes not somuch. Unless its a track warrior ceramics are better
The diff is a tricky call. Would argue that diffs are fine well beyond 26k miles unless its been totally ragged

Too many chancers out there asking silly money.

There was a green LHD with PCCB on there a couple of weeks ago for 90k Euros negotiable, private sale. You could probably have got it for the equivalent of £70k with a bit of haggling. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same car that is now up for considerably more with a German dealer.

…Based on your ID, my car might appeal

There are two green 7RS Gen 1's for sale and they have both--allegedly-had severe damage on race tracks. One is at a Porsche Centre, on SOR, always a problem in Europe, because my friend checked it out personally .
