You need to use the old Jedi trick for driving a GT3 up a cambered, sloped driveway without losing the front splitter...

Cup Splitter, seems about 75/80mm off the ground in the garage. I find the cup brake ducts catch the road more than the splitter ever has.

Ill measure how high up my ducts are as theyre cup ducts.

I know that some bit by the wheel is meant to be 75mm off the deck.

For those with a normal splitter, how high is your or have you lowered the car?
Or alternatively, for those with cups, how high does the main pu sit?

Just trying to figure out if i need sus rebuild sooner rather than later

My car isn't standard ride height (Parr fast road set up) so sits a little bit lower

Bl00dy hell, I'm getting worried that the car i just bought is going to gouge the splitter everytime i put it away ! as i have a slight incline on the drive, i certainly dont want to be spending £££ on a suspension lift kit !

Will maybe have to loose the splitter.

Just go at an angle, it'll be fine.

I've only ever caught my splitter once and that was 10 minutes after collecting the car after buying it when I mis judged the angle into the Shell garage. Never been a problem since smile

Thats basically what I look like getting up the drive! Still end up catching it sometimes though!

Our version of front axle lift smile

It's interesting how there is almost no droop on the front wheels when lifted. Though mine is running stiffer springs.

It'll be the rears that sag first with all that engine weight over it.
The rears will need refurbing at 40k for sure. Around £100 a corner at Bilstein and get a corner weighting/geo done at the same time at CG

I think mine were replaced at 18k miles by the previous owner as they were already leaking.

Your ride height looks very very low. Droop isn't affected by the stiffness of the springs, only the travel of the damper. Either your dampers have pretty much zero travel (are they OEM?) or your ride height to start with is ridiculously low.

Very well spotted.

I assumed the springs would affect the droop...but yes, she is not running OEM dampers...Nitron 3 way adjustables. Dual springs at each corner and the springs rates are approx double stiff. Plus the ride height is lower with a fair amount of rake. I'll try to measure the front height at some point tonight...optical view below..

Interestingly I have had very little issue with the ride height with respect to front splitter. I guess you become better at spotting an offending bump or dip.

Yeah, think mine are on the way out though having a high nose does help getting it in/out of the garage laugh.

Spoke to CG earlier, 2 month waiting list but cant decide on sticking with OEM or going with Ohlins or PSS10's...

Is it a road car and occasional track?

If you are doing loads of track then change from OEM
