I guess you have to insure it for what it would cost to replace, this is difficult to estimate given the small amount for sale. I'd expect even an average condition car to be 65K + nowadays.

£60k - £65k sounds very fair.

Get an agreed price with insurer plus pics of condition. I always send screen shots or print out of the interweb showing cost of cars to replace.

I know they can easily do it but it backs up your aide of story and less work for them.

Haha! And it was JZM, that told me, in Feb/March, the 60k GT3, wasn't here yet.

Didn't they just sell a low mileage comfort in Atlas Grey for close to £80k?

I've just sent the link to someone who's been trying very hard to find the car in this colour/spec. Even if it's over priced it won't really matter to the right person. (Btw I don't feel it's over priced anymore.)

Wasnt it closer to 70k or is that a different car?

Will be 'interesting' to see if it sells at the going rate considering Cambridge havent appeared to have sold any of theirs at the top end of the market

It was a 6k mile comfort car in Atlas with carbon buckets.

Went for just over £80k in 24 hours.

Know the seller.

Im not a gt3 owner so might take a bashing but seriously a 996 gt3 for £100k is just bonkers, even at £75k...
I had a 6turbo so grant you not in the rare league like these gt3's but I see a dangerous bubble because there is effectively no difference between a 7gt3 mrk 1 price and I know which car I would rather have in my garage.

Just incase someone who's had a bump on the head is reading, I'd very much like to swap my dynamically superior Mk1 GT3 for your 964 RS (preferably in Mint or Rubystone) please.

This is nuts. I'm just about to reinsure my LHD modified car w/47k miles for £55k. Have I undervalued it, or is there a significant pricing discrepancy for LHD?

These cars aren't selling , let's not get carried away here. Lots hanging about for sale for months.

It doesn't change the fact that some cars have been selling (see the 6.2 comfort at JZM for £80k as an example). It makes me think my 15k miles clubsport is potentially undervalued at its current £75k!

The cars that are shifting fast at top price are the ones with perfect provenance at the most respected dealers.

Clarke, I think you are right about yours. £75k is on the low side of what you should expect for yours.

Some of the 996 gt3 cars currently for sale have been for advertised for ages.

Only the very best are selling,

100k is plain crazy.

Sellers are now just picking numbers and starting to try there luck
