Just as a matter of interest, this car was for sale at OPC cardiff for about a year, maybe slightly less and they couldn't move it. Reason is that it has a huge gap in the service history.
OPC Cardiff were selling it at 104k then came down to 90k odd and the buyer refused about 85k for it. It was for sale with I believe a 3 month or max 1 year warranty as it didn't qualify for the usual 2 year package.

Even though the milage is so low, I think the gap in service history is about 7/8 years where it just wasn't serviced at all.
People who buy these cars, you and I, care about such things when shelling out the best part of 100k. If it was on for 75k I am sure it would sell and someone would take a punt, maybe track it and enjoy it.

There could be a legitimate reason for the gap in history - may be owner working abroad. I remember seeing a white GT2 no plates covered in years of dust and grime in an underground car park off marble arch - probably still there now. Auctions are risk, but that's the punt you take.

That being the case, surely MOT history and mileages would inform a potential buyer?

Fair enough if it had don't no mileage, if it had done a couple of thousand so run cold a lot perhaps on old oil, might not have done the engine any good.
Then theres the matter of selling it on. If people don't want it now, they won't want it in the future either.

I don't remember it having a Manthey/RS front bumper nor the cup steering wheel?

Is this it?

There can't be that many Atlas grey GT3s with comfort seats and tinted rear windows on a 53 plate.

Yes this is my old car, WBAC took a big hit on this if the dealer is asking this price and has his mark up on it, i got a fair bit more for it when i sold it to them.
I guess i just got very lucky.

I was wondering whether one of the WBAC owners was buying this for his/her personal collection....seems not.

For 6 months or so they've been offering around 52-62k on 996.2GT3s and 42-47k on 997.1RS' so I doubt it smile
Probably some stupid algorithm based on sold prices from some database nothing more.
