Well done Coxy, but take care. I believe that this car had had another cars front tub welded on to it. Get it checked out and be sure that its safe.
to be fair, whether the parts from the front are off the shelf or are off another car, (and everything lines up straight, door shuts, bonnet lines, lights etc), then as long as it's been done correctly, then that is the most important thing. And lets face it, how many times have people doing resto's, bought replacement panels only to find the fit is appalling and you end up having to chop and weld and hammer to get things to fit.
I was thankful to have a donor car (Auto Union Audi 70L) when restoring my 80 variant as it saved all that hassle of trying to make things fit!
The rear end off my old 911 was from something which was a lot lighter blue!!
There's a recent alignment report with the vehicle and the figures are better than the ones on my 964's report!

this was the last 'toy', another shady beast, but it had receipts for over £100k!!!
built for purpose and it did just that, just hope to have some more fun again without worrying about the ever inflated prices of Porsches!

For me, the GT3 is a modern day version of this, without the lag!!

Well done Coxy914 - a very rare care in Zanzibar, I think there are only 7 C16 Zanzibar 996.1 GT3s remaining.

Enjoy!

oh, and if you are still after the number plate, happy to sell for the price for something similar with 911 in. JMR isn't my initials, and not fussed about keeping it with the car.

Although this one might be a good buy for it???

Sending PM now, was abroad when you bought the car...

Not going to comment on its price, but I think the car looks very nice.

A blast from the past!

Looks far better back with LM's in Clubsport spec and all the show car gubbins removed.
