Not sure if this thread doubles up as the 'spotted' thread but I saw my first 991 GT3 on the roads yesterday - noticed a rather menacing and wide white 911 ambling towards me in the traffic and it was a GT3, driven by Mr R. Hammond I believe. In Tooting...

saw this one doing what gt3s do (or should be doing!) on monday...

Sounded pretty nice but the car really is quite a big unit, especially compared to the 996 gt3s in the carpark.

Was there not a 964 (RS?) in a mettalic aubergine colour.....violet mettalic?

Wow! Is that Andys old one? By Andy I mean the guy who started the Prospective 991 GT3 thread then bought a V12 Vantage instead.

As a side note, am I correct in assuming you have a Speed Yellow 3.8 RS, a Mexico Blue 4.0 RS and a Carrera GT in Silver already? Thats quite a collection

I don't think it's Andy's old car. The guy never even drove it! Trailered to him and trailered back to Leicester OPC. Unfortunately I paid a good premium for it but it's a high spec and rare colour. And yes that's my old GT2 at Leicester - with a huge profit added on I might add!

be Andy's order def then, sold at list about a month ago, then I guess resold again with a bit on it ;-)

Wouldn't that make it 2 owners before I bought it? OPC were selling as SOR. Someone in North Yorks if I remember correctly.
