Does anyone know if these are now available from OPC and Tequipment? Says they are but can't find any reference online. Are they available from 3rd parties and has anyone fitted them? Considering applying these on 997.2 Turbo for forthcoming Spa track day.

Since the early 1970’s, Porsche motor sports vehicles have competed in races bearing Martini Racing branding. Initially in cooperation with private teams, then from 1973 with an official sponsoring contract. To this day, the popular design can be seen on numerous Porsche race cars. With immediate effect, this is also available for your 911. With the “MARTINI” logo and decorative strips on the bonnet and decorative strips on the roof, rear wing and side skirts.

'Struth! That's expensive from Suncoast. These are available from Reforma UK, price quoted is fitted. The kit excludes side skirt stripes, I'm sure they could cut these as well in keeping with the original design.

Doesn't seem bad value given that they supply and fit. Personally I like the side decals, something like this....

Wonder how much that would cost? Even better if it was in paint. Love it.

But in terms of area covered, a bargain compared to a GT2RS bonnet badge sticker at about 45 quid or something like 150 just for the script on the boot IIRC.

A bit of effort drawing them, £42 to get a single 1.5m x 1.55 m sheet printed, a lot of cutting and 4 hours x 2 people to apply...

Very smart, I've not got the time or patience to fit these myself; will get a local vehicle signwriter to apply. Just waiting back quote from Reforma UK for supply only.

Just out of interest, why for a TD at Spa. Is it a special event? I can understand for a road trip like Le Mans or something. Just seems like an unnecessary expense, time, effort for one day. Especially a day that will already be expensive.

Each to their own obviously, and not having a pop just curious. smile

First outing in 911 since parting company with TVR Sagaris. As much as I love the 911 it is somewhat understated. I organised 23 cars to go to Monza last year, mainly TVR's, previous to that it's been Zolder and Spa. Cars are normally stickered up for the Euro trip....TVR logos across Porsche doesn't quite go!

I'd keep the martini stripes on for a while, help protect from stone chips :-)

Had this done for LeMans, full body stripe + side stripes (no pics of those), pretty good quality. Cost £130 for the kit, paid a mate in beer tokens who is a sign writer to fit and job was a good one smile

ETA : PM for the details of the guy who does these

I'm torn between the Martini stripe and a more subtle twin viper stripe along the lines of the Sport Classic look. Perhaps in a matt silver grey on my Arctic Silver paintwork.

A guy called "Jon the Stripe" apparently does these... a guy at an OPC dealer told me he did their demo cars...

I so want that car to be sitting on my drive.
