Agreed on the last 2 posts, its a spike at the moment re classic cars.
I think there will be a few people losing their shirts and shedding tears.

No issues that I'm aware of or any of the dealers that have looked after the car during my ownership or previously.

"It's like a new car" was the quote at the last service!

Always gets driven properly by me, oil and tyres up to temperature then the fun begins, it's an amazing driving experience and those that know me know why it's for sale.

It's a very special car in fantastic condition, and someone will get a great car.

Bad form imo to suggest "bound to have issues". If anyone wants any info on the car then please drop me a PM or call.
Agreed, there is no reason it is bound to have issues if it is regularly serviced and I am sure it is a wonderful car. My comment wasn't a dig either, just a comment on the market generally being a bit nuts - as demonstrated by the other examples of 993's and RS car and their asking prices.

I don't know why you are selling, but if it was my car and I could pull £90K for it, I think I would be selling too smile

I was speaking to an independent Porsche dealer the other day who told me that a 993 Turbo S was up for bids in the trade - he offered £120K - it went for £170 or 180K (I can't remember which) and was promptly sold to someone overseas for over £200K within a week. Madness!

I don't think there's a bigger 993 turbo fan boy than me - people are gonna get burnt paying these CRAZY prices. £100K for a turbo S is bonkers, let alone for the standard model!

Just a couple of years ago a 993 turbo would struggle to sell at £50K.

Really enjoyed my 993 Turbo, was sure footed and went well but still had it's issues in the five years of ownership that cost money to fix. There is no comparison to a GT2 though, they are worlds apart in driving experience and for me the GT2 is a more exciting ownership experience and only one that I'm exiting due to a move abroad.

£250k for the JZ turbo s is huge money, and I guess aimed at the collector as if you can put down 1/4 million into a car wouldn't a CGT be on the radar at low 300k.

I've had a couple of calls on the car but still have it, everyone is telling me I must be mad to sell it and I should keep hold if it. :-)

Tough car to replace though, so will be tears before laughter.

If you're determined to let it go then very best of luck. Certainly not a car you could easily replace.
