+1Just had a set modified for a 996GT3 so opposite configuration.
Speak to Tim at ACT, couldn't be more helpful.

Can someone recommend a decibel reducer for a 7.2 GT3 that can actually accommodate the stock muffler with twin 2" pipes located closely together? Thanks.
I've used Decibel Devils on mine (the 3.5" ones) - they need a modification to fit, though.I had a friend help me out with this - essentially the bracket needed moving up because the decibel devils can't be inserted far enough for the bracket to go around the existing pipes.

thanks. does the ACT product clamp on and requires no modifications to the car?
has anyone tried the decibel slayer?
No mods required with the ACT product & imo it works better than the Decibel Devil & similar alternatives. Directing the exhaust down to the ground means that driveby noise limits are less of a problem. Also, the exhaust isn't restricted like it is with devices shoved up the pipes so it doesn't retain heat &/or cook the lambda sensors.has anyone tried the decibel slayer?

Could you please post a picture of these. Are there any additional supporting needed in the middle? I have Decibel devils but need to look another solution as I think the Devils are too small in diameter.Just had a set modified for a 996GT3 so opposite configuration.

Nick what static db are you seeing with these/what trackdays can you get on?BrendonJ said:

The car is a true 108dB @ 6K without the cans. Realistically, I reckon they knock 3-4dB off the static test. I can do 98dB driveby Donington days & I get on at Castle Combe (100dB static test at 4.5K). I've got on at Brands GP with a 101 with a warning they'll check my driveby: no issues. The car has an ECU mapped for launch control so it won't rev over 4300 rpm when stood still. That gets me past even the Oulton & Snett noise nazis & I have no problem with driveby noise anywhere I go with the cans fitted. I've done a 105 Goodwood day without the cans, ditto Silverstone & Spa. I don't do Bedford, Rockingham or Thruxton but it's been suggested they might be more of a problem for noise?
