Reversing beep randomly beeping whilst driving.

Anyone suffered from this. It's either the reversing beep or the washer resevoir low alert. Randomly going off in my 997. It seems to do it when the car hasn't been driven far.

My sensors going off randomly turned out to be the reg plate not stuck properly at the sides! Hope this helps.

I should make it clear that it happens randomly when driving my 997 forwards! It sounds like the same beep as when you engage reverse. Anyone experienced this?

No. Its not the speed limiter. It does it at low speeds. 20-30mph.

Ok. Drove to Silverstone today to do a Porsche driving day. The car beeped randomly a few times both on the way up and the way back. No info displayed and no icons lit up. Mystery. I can only think of 3 things that beep. Firstly engaging reverse, second low washer fluid and third low petrol. Could be a dodgy sensor?

On a separate note the sat nah failed to work the entire way. It kept searching and failing to calculate route. Started working on the way back but got lost for a bit on the M4!

Sounds like damaged wiring to reverse light switch, just had a 987 doing same thing.
