Mines only done 1500 miles and I now the previous owner, who didn't drive it so I don't think it was this one. There are about 4 yellow ones in the UK. I think the car you are referring to was probably owned by a small Irish chap at one point??
1500 miles and you havent even done all of those? I am not suggesting that it should be your daily, but Jesus, do you not want to drive it?

Tell me about it! Lots of business commitments, 3 young kids and too many cars. It's the CGT's turn this year though.

Now I am quite fond of a yellow 911 and there are some fantastic examples on this thread but I think it is a very very small niche market. When I bought my 993 (silver) in October 13 the dealer I bought it off had a yellow 997 gen2 . When speaking to the dealer in spring 2014 I mentioned to him that he had not shifted the yellow 997. He said I have had that car 7 months and never had a phone call!!! I looked at his web site last night and he still has it! It was low mileage and mint aswell.

Not sure how 3 kids works with anything in your garage, or are you hiding the Zafira smile

Yellow for playtime black for work time.
I recognise the yellow big toy, have you owned this for quite some time?

I only ask because I was once treated to a very fast few laps as a passenger around Outon park in a yellow GT2 and I'm sure the number plate was big toy?

It was an RMA day I was in the next garage and I think I was driving an Evo at the time.

Anyway if it was you I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for the experience.

I went and bought a heavily fettled 996 Turbo not long after that as a result.

Good days the RMA trackdays, I also remember Petrolted himself taking me around Silverstone in his 996RS playing with a orange Suppaleggara . I held on tight there as well.

Yep that could be me Pete, love Oulton as a circuit, and was a regular RMA track day Billy. Had this GT2 since 2005, and the number plate since 1995.

...and like Dave (Petrolted) I was in TVRs at one point but moved to Porsche.

Hope you enjoyed the turbo. I only bought this 997 gen 1 turbo last month to replace my M6 as an everyday ride.
