I was going the other way but saw what seemed to be a white997 GT3 towing a caravan - the hitch seemed to come from the number plate area. Broken down on the autoroute outside presumably on its way to the uk? Probably the only time in my life to see such things... Unless it was a top gear stunt?

Odd. The vast majority of cars even remotely sporty are not usually homologated for towing, so IIRC not legal in the UK (possibly EU?). Quite a sight!

I didn't think they were type approved either.
Usually, M/AMG/RS cars are not type approved so i' be surprised if Porsche decided it's customers were caravaners
