Found myself chatting about GT3s with a pal last week and started to work out how many miles I've done in them over the last 13 years.

996.1 GT3 2001-3 16,000
996.2 GT3 2003-6 31,500
997.1 GT3 2007-8 15,700
997.1 RS 2012-14 15,200

Blimey, thats over 78,000 miles

Anyone beat that??

Its been interspersed with other stuff too, just keep ending back with another one.

This one is up for sale now, not decided what to replace it with yet. Probably be another year or two then back to the next one.

In between the GT3s there's been a GTR, Scuderia and CLK Black Series. Plus some more everyday stuff.

Just checked out your garage to get a look at a 100k miles GT3. What a great selection of cars you've got . I'd Forgot G60's existed .

Guess it's the JZM 7.1 RS that was just listed then? At the rate you're going though, next year you'd be back in a 7.2 GT3 I guess! wink

Not a GT3 but...

996 GT2 - 2008 - 2010 25,000
997 GT2 - 2012 - present 18,000

43,000 GT2 miles - can anyone beat that?

Just checked my notes. Driven 5300 laps in GT3's at various circuits all over Europe.

Only 30K miles on the road though.

Blimey. You keep good notes.

I estimate around 1000 race or test laps in mine in temperatures averaging 35-40C.

Roughly 30k on the road as well (same car).

Yep. Keep everything in a little moleskine book. Setup data, tyres temps blah blah blah. Naughty litte tricks about wet/quali lines et al. Very usefull as a chap gets older and strts to forget his name :-).

Mario Andretti kept all of his notes but someone stole the book which was in a pit garage somewhere in the States during the 1990's. Most upsetting for him
