Hi Batster
Do you have a front lift kit on your one? The front seems to have a lot of clearance getting into the petrol station.
As a side note the silver previously damaged CGT has just increased in price by over 100000 to 305000 now!
The blue UK car with 9000 miles on it looks even more expensive now when compared to the unregistered yellow one with 15km on it in Europe for 450000.
I'm not sure where the UK is getting its pricing structure from.

People should go to europe or further to buy,the prices are what they are because for some reason the uk buyers are prepared to pay well over the odds, and even sometimes panic buying and on top of that borrowing to purchase.
Not a good recipe if it goes the other way, which it can.
Those two damaged cars are nuts!
The next two wheel drive none battery powered lightweight v8 special is on its way.

Re the photo in the garage, I have a lifting kit (all four wheels) which I use to get onto forecourts etc. it's very useful and was already fitted to the car when I bought it - a nice surprise as was not on the spec sheet when it was advertised.
I take it you also have the KW kit then? It's fantastic. See if you can track down the original springs though for the provenance. Mine are in my office which keeps me motivated, knowing at the end of the week i have a CGT to look forward to!Uh.. are cars truly changing hands at anything around what the OPC leeds CGT is listed for...?! Or even 100k less for that matter to be honest. Find that awfully hard to credit even in this slightly insane market, especially as that has largely passed the CGT by. I suggested an agreed value of ~350k a couple of months ago to the friend whose car I've driven before (not dissimilar in spec to the leeds car) when he was wondering what to agree with the insurer so hopefully he didn't take my numbers!

So obvious that market being artificially artificially talked up.
Someone this morning felt it appropriate to list a private car for 695000 and its sold within minutes...!
Amazing...
I hope true buyers are not going to get stung. True international market price is 300 to 350.
Was it Keynes who said market can remain irrational longer than you can ever imagine/budget forSomeone this morning felt it appropriate to list a private car for 695000 and its sold within minutes...!

They truly are...and it was about bloody time!! CGT have been undervalued for too long...it is such a fine machine! But agree that the price increase have been too quick and too steep, all down to numbers I guess (as usual) and to the fact that good and clean cars are so difficoult to find!Maxige said:

The numbers are the same as previously and it has always taken time to find good examples... IMO the exponential price increase after a decade of no movement is just to do with the state of the nation.LITRBL said:

When I was talking about numbers I wasn't referring to the total numbers of cars (that decreased btw, if only for the Paul Walker car...) but for the CGT that are on the market!Have a look on Mobile.de, 1 yellow car available...that's it!! And in the UK? Other than the 2 crashed cars? Only the Midnight Blue car at the OPC...2 further black cars about to come to the market but one is US spec and the other UAE spec!
All down to demand and offer...but again, it was about bloody time!!
Having said that I agree that dealers are playing an important role in how the market is behaving...it happened with the CS, then with the F40 and now with the CGT!
Asking vs actual selling prices is the key.
Plenty of USA cars have been on sale for between 500 and 550 USD.These have been hanging around for a while.
I know of one actual sale recently for 425 USD. Less than 7000 miles with full history. This is around 265,000 pounds.
Another USA car with less than 5000 miles, with recent engine out service and clutch only bid up to 455 USD, about 285000 pounds at an auction.
I know these are USA prices but can a UK car really be worth more than double??
European prices are similar to the USA.

Any idea of 4.0RS prices in the US?

But one can argue a LHD vs RHD price difference unlike the CGT which is LHD only.
