The silver damaged one has now that increased a further 300,000 pounds.
It has gone from 200,000 to 605000 in less than a month.
Who needs the stock market when you can apparently triple your money in a month..
They must think ph writes and sets the market values for some strange reason or looking for more mugs to pay over the top in the uk.It has gone from 200,000 to 605000 in less than a month.

Just missed a nice red low miler at 320.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the midnight blue and brown combo.

I seriously hope this is just a bull market as if this how things are likely to stay its pretty sombre reading for those who have missed the boat.

I've got to admit that the CGT values are not ones I've kept a close eye on, but looking at some of the replies here this seems about £100k too much? Part of me thinks that if I was in the fortunate position to be able to buy one of these then the peace of mind buying from an OPC is a good thing, but at that price?
The other side of me thinks that despite being a complete Porsche fan, £575k is a lot of money for a CGT. They had a RHD 993 GT2 in...owner allegedly turned down £800k for it? Surely not. Yes, 1 of 7 worldwide but even with the money, would I want £800k in what is (albeit a very special) just a 911?

I was at Reading last week for some warranty work, and on a tour around the workshop for my son (well, and for his daddy!), I was surprised how may CGTs were kept under covers in storage. The service chap was understandably cagey about how often the owners call up and ask for their weekend toy to be dusted off for a drive; perhaps they are largely owned by people who don't spend long in the UK and are effectively in long term storage? Also fascinating to see a few 918s sitting among the CGTs. How the other half live, eh?

It's known as the 'Bat Cave'. The CGTs are kept in long term storage for their owners. If you are acquiring a CGT build a relationship with Reading as only they are authorised to work on the CGT - contact their department that deals exclusively with 'special customers'.Pete

not great if you live in Scotland or Newcastle then, you'd hope that Porsche UK would train and equip more than one base to handle the CGT/918Adam B said:

You could speak with Andy Keywood or John Manning at Reading and they could perhaps suggest some options to take care of you that would work.Adam B said:

Just think of the drive down and back, should make it easier! Most opc would not have a clue on the gt,only trust reading.for a opc to work on the gt, porsche insist on all the tooling purchased from the factory before training and allowed to service etc, most opc would never get a return.
I think any second hand car sold by a dealer will have 3 month warranty by law,buy wisely with good service history.
