As above it's not fish nor fowl, but i do know that as soon as somebody criticizes it too much or moans about the dealer who happens to pay Haymarket a lot in advertising fees, the thread will be closed or comments deleted.

The PS cars seem to take an age to sell as they're very niche, they're not original early cars and so future values aren't guaranteed as it would be buying an original early 911. Obviously PS will continue to resell existing PS cars at top end prices.

If you want a backdated car the fun is in the journey of creating your own bespoke 911. There are plenty of specialists from Autofarm, Early911, Canford Classics etc who will work with you to create a unique car.

P.S Lots of build threads over on Facebook in the London 964 Section. Cars built for more realistic prices and with a breadth of Knowledge and experience. Some also have info on this dealer. Worth a look for some great ideas. Good luck

I personally dont see the PS branding carrying any weight or desireability. I suppose someone out there might give it credence and lust after it but i've yet to meet such a person. Mytholoy IMO and a good way to do your bks come resale.

Everything he touches, turns to 'overpriced'. Just somewhere to steer clear of IMO!

Yes looks to be the case which is why the first owners try and sell them back through PS as they reckon he has a better chance of ripping someone's face off than them privately.

Far better proposition, although I've no opinion on the price, would be the black IROC car at JZM.
Having seen this car even prior to its arrival at JZM the 'fit and finish' of said vehicle is exceptional.

I'm not sure the Same was previously said for the PS car.

I dare say they'd be some room on the price of the JZM car unless it's already sold of course.
They do have one of the strongest followings and have overtaken older dealers like PS.
Maybe it's a trust thing

yes i noticed that when it first appeared ... and i think i had a rant about it as it grated bigtime in respect of so many other categories being missing (3.2, SC, exige V6 etc.) yet seemingly they found the time to create a completely irrelevant and unjustified PS category whilst the much needed parts of the Classifieds remained in a complete mess

money talks I guess

Anyone noticed how some of the 'threads in the sub-folders' don't seem to show up when you use the main 'Porsche' folder?

On the classifieds I think PH should remove the PS Autoart 911 folder, Ruf, Singer or even some of the wacky stuff (Gembella, Strosek etc) would be OK, but PS is a joke. They also put the same cars in the pre-89 folder.

Would help if they took at the Hexagon pre-89 cars out of the 964 folder, whilst they're at it.

Plus stop dealers moving their old stock back to the top every day (once a week, would be fine).

I'd prefer it if I could click on a button not to see the same old cars that I'm not interested in, that would help PH build a better picture of the type of car that's people want, rather than having to click on the same old ads we don't want (just to keep the advertisers believing their getting extra hits)!

All agreed.

Case in point above, this car sold over 3 years ago!
Clogging up the adds sections. PH needs to get a grip on these Dealers
