Can anyone tell me definitively what size and material bolts are used in these ?

I've bought a spare to experiment with but it's already been split and stripped with the bolts missing.

Pretty sure there an M7 & about 30mm long, stainless bolts, one thing to check is the ingetrity of the threads in the rim, being a 2 piece it's not a regular nut & bolt type split rim, trying to get the correct spline headed bolts will be tricky though

They're not "normal" pitch. They're metric fine. Give me a bit I'll get you the full details.

A word of caution, the wheels are 15 years old now, accordingly most have been refurbed more than once. When the bolts are removed to refurb them, they often pull the threads out of the rims section (the front seem more prone to this).

You'll need to test the threads are serviceable before assembling the wheel. If some or all of the threads have pulled, you'll need to timecert them, and the timecerts aren't cheap ......

Thanks for the replies guys, are they stainless or Titanium ? Titanium is suggested by a few online retailers as being for OE Porsche/Jaguar which seems a bit overkill, I guess it's to avoid a reaction between stainless and the alloy ?

I'll get a spacer of some kind and torque each hole gently to test the threads ??

Nothing's ever straightforward is it, I can see me just throwing it in the loft incase I bend one of the ones on the car biggrin

Cheers rick/Slippy got hold of some with the exact same markings on but still no idea what they'd made from. Makes no odds really.

If they're stainless you also need to try to find out what strength, ie A2-70, or A4-80 (these are stronger and have a higher torque loading).
