Lol, you have to love dealer spin.
I bet when he was buying it was "Christ we'll never shift that with brown leather I can only pay peanuts"

- I'm assuming Tan = brown.

imo better than red/cream ferraris that seem to be so popular in the UK
Fair enough, I happen to like that red/cream however we are all different Having looked carefully at it, in a Panamera or even a Carrera I think it actually doesn't look too bad. But in a GT2 it's all carbon, buckets, harnesses and cages really IMO, this is too much of a drawing room look.
I like it
haha just noticed price. Think that sold for £40k literally 3 months ago!. I've noticed the same phenomena with Ferraris recently and nothing special i.e. 430 Spyder etc. Car I was going to buy down the phone from DK Engineering for £80k now up for sale 3 months later at £92k?!

I actually quite like the seats and the colour...but it's just too much brown. If you got a scrapper Boxster and transplanted a black dash, black steering wheel, and swapped the lower part of the door trim for black, ditto gear lever and handbrake, door airbag covers and bin lids, and that would look great. Cost you £500 from a breaker, plus keep the brown stuff in the loft for originality just in case.
I had an Alfa 156 with the same colour combo and it looked great.

It's interesting how few of these cars we know about on these forums. I know we have a register courtesy of Ram, but I estimate less than two dozen are known. This one seems to have only just surfaced as far as I know.
Gavin has built a new database with help from Ram.http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/carclubs/registers/re...
Still needs updating with all the cars, but it's a work in progress.

Interesting, about 20 on there. Once up and running I'd like to add mine but doesn't seem to work at the moment.http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/carclubs/registers/re...

I've been sent around 90 cars in a spreadsheet by EvoEng on here, going to load those in over the next week, that should be most of the 996s done.
