£560 delivered for a set of Cups for a 996 GT3 is quite compelling! On Tyreleader.
Cup 1's ? Absolute bargain and a superb tyre. Just watch out for the date stamps, tyreleader are good at stating the Date for each price which is really fair i think. I would not worry too much if they were a bit older either really.

Are Michelin actually still making the Cup 1? If not i may get a set for 'ron

I would not say £1200 for a set of Cup2s is cheap but I take your point relative to PTR there circa £300-400 cheaper per set. MP Supersports are about £900 to put it into perspective and regular road tyres like MSP2s even cheaper
Yes tyres for 911s aren't cheap, hunt around and you can get them cheaper my last set of cup 2s cost £1040. Compared to to PTRs at £1300.

Theses are trackday tyres, road tyres are cheaper but even the MPSS struggles on track.

2 of the better suppliers I use.
Yes mine are 325 at rear and 245 at front so more expensive. Still think mine were only £1070 from tyreleader.co.uk but would have been £300 more if I'd specced N rated Cup 2s.

There's no difference by the way so you're paying more for the N rating which is ridiculous.

Having been out for a blast for 2 hours this morning and caught in a snow blizzard I can confirm they're shyte in snow hehe

Given the cost of replacing or refurbing porsche wheels who do you trust to replace your tyres if you buy from tyre leader etc.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Essex or the South East.

Do you not find resentment from the garage for the fact you have not brought from them?

My indy 9e arranges it.

I always give my local tyre dealer an opportunity to quote me and if they can't get near to the likes of Tyreleader, I ask them if they would have any objection to fitting them. The answer is always, "not a problem".

Same here. Always bung the lads a decent tip as well so they look after my wheels.

Where do they state the date? I must be blind. I can't find it on their website. Can you point out where, please?

Not sure if they are still in production or not. But thy price is crazy cheap.

It will say DOT 2011 or something similar in the listing, not on everything, seems to be stated on older stock.
