I remember it well. Liaised with Tom on it as I was thinking about buying it but didn't in the end. Looked a great car and with the backup of 911v, a good price too.

Not sure if this is good or bad news but it's a bit of a garage queen now.

on a separate note, had an OPC email yesterday asking if mine was up for sale as they are desperate for GT's - as long as it can be returned back to OEM and that its had P or recognised Specialist History, theyd take it

I'm sure they'd take it, the real question is for how much, in my experience trade offers are often a real kick in the nuts.

I got the car cheap though as the dealer selling couldn't shift it and I went in with a cash deal

For now! The wing mirrors and wing tips, are now silver, which looks great. A change of direction means, I'm probably going to keep the GT3 for a while, unless someone offers me 63.5k, which I'll include the RS wing & the Cup bumper, along with the standard parts.
Talking of values and potential sales, JZM rang me today, to see if I was still selling, in their opinion the 60k 996 GT3 isn't here yet, which is weird as Strasse had a 59.5k silver GT3 for sale at Christmas, that didn't hang around for long.

Agree, they are a very professional outfit, and I would feel very comfortable dealing with them.
I have been offered 55k, and 2k for the wing & bumper.

I am luck enough to own a 05 low miler,and don't really care about the value as it aint for sale.Looking at the massive prices being asked for other,older,'special' 911s,surely these are one hell of a bargain?!? and an asset that's only going up?
