Whats the best colour wheel combination

Just in the process of buying a Meteor Grey 997.2

It originally had turbo wheels on it, which I was not keen on. The garage has offered to swap them for another set of wheels. Would be really interested in the forums views on wheels Vs this colour combination.

Just got this. Was never keen on black wheels but now they're growing on me. The car is Meteor grey. I was going to get them refurbed silver when its time for new tyres but everyone I've asked reckons I should keep them black.

I've had 996 gt3 sport design , 996 turbo and now 997 Carrera classic. Not being the pedantic polisher the Carreras Classic are by far the easiest to keep clean and I suspect would the cheapest to refurb when the time came...so are my first choice....worth thinking about.

Specifically only in Black (no aero kit) I prefer pic 3 (overall) but in grey I'd say MadMark's choice is correct (in satin ideally)

I think the Meteor Grey works really well with black wheels (had mine done with a thin silver rim) - has a more complete look (IMHO) than all silver with that particuar colour.

Not Meteor grey but I think hot red gives the wheels that racy feel for a summer vibe!!

I think these are the best wheel for a standard 997 gen 2, as these were bespoke to the gen 2...the others were also available on the gen 1's

I had these on my gen 2 987 Cayman...looked great and easy to clean....keep them silver....not a fan of black wheels unless GT3's or that type

Thanks for asking, after a lot of deliberating I went with the 19" Sport Design wheels, was rather dubious until I picked up the car, love them
