A real shame that even LHD cars are being advertised and sold over original list price, 991s now the same. Something just does not seem right with the RHD strategy from Porsche, resulting in dealers, speculators and now even OPC's importing LHD cars for retail in a RHD country. When will the madness end?
Perhaps the next recession/financial crisis will bring a correction?

yippee yet another market/values thread to add to the mountain of others. We live in a capitalist society. Buy the car if you can afford it, otherwise don't.

Seems like the boundaries are blurring a bit between LHD and RHD for these cars. There seem to be especially few 997 (and 996) GT3s available right now, in notable contrast to the 991, where there's now quite a choice of cars, albeit at eye watering prices. Not sure when the madness will end but it will at some point.

Maybe we're seeing the first hints of a calming of the storm. House prices (even in London) fell last month. The elction could be the trigger for a correction of sorts. IMO a Labour government would dent the (irrational) exuberence in financial markets and asset values in turn.

I thought the Marque 1 car would have hung around for a while at £115k...but it's sold!

With 991s at £150k+ this is inevitable. I am now considering selling my 997.2 as I have a GT4 on the way.
